Summit Hill Gardens Cottage, a little bit of paradise, is a place to enjoy solitude, peace and quiet. Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.

The space

 Part of the charm of this property is its history. The name for my property, Summit Hill, comes from the school that was built on this site in 1874 and is restored. Travel and art have been a large part of my life. The cottage reflects that with molas from the Kuna Indians, the shoe collection and the India festival banner.

Other things to note

We are located 3 miles south of Chanute. Phone reception and wifi on the hill here are a bit spotty. There is no tv in the cottage. There is a coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and an apartment sized refrigerator for your convenience. Handmade soaps will be provided!
