Established locally in 1946 as a small livestock and scrap metal business, Cleaver Farm & Home today is a 3rd generation family business. Over these many years Cleaver Farm & Home has grown into a diversified company through a little hard work at the right time, a lot of pure luck, and always with the help of the now close to 60 dedicated employees.

Back in 1989, a then new retail facility was opened at 2103 S. Santa Fe in Chanute, Kansas. Many expansion projects later, Cleaver Farm & Home covers 14 acres with 20,000 square feet of retail showroom and office space, and 45,000 square feet of covered storage.
